Environmental Leaders Back Irvine City Council Candidate Ayn Craciun

IRVINE, CA – Environmental and business leaders from Orange County recently attended an event to support Irvine City Council candidate Ayn Craciun.

As the OC Policy Director for a climate nonprofit, Craciun has a strong track record of advocating for policies that enhance human health and protect the environment. Her notable achievements include championing Irvine’s historic nontoxic landscaping policy, transitioning the city away from gas-powered lawn equipment, and eliminating fossil gas from Irvine buildings.

The event was hosted by Irvine resident Tanvi Shah, the regional representative of Patanjali Yogpeeth and Halar Oshwal Jains.

Among those at the event were Youssef Kaddeche, Vice Chair of the City of Irvine Transportation Commission, Doug Elliott, Commissioner of the City of Irvine Community Services Commission, Ryan Dack, South OC Community College District Board Member, and Ranju Nair, owner of the restaurants The Yellow Chilli and Kali Chilli.
