Haley Supporting PAC Ignores Her Warning, Shifts To Backing Kamala

WASHINGTON, DC – Nikki Haley who ran a bitter Republican primary campaign against Donald Trump but has since shifted back to endorsing him, has issued a cease and desist letter to a political action committee (PAC) previously aligned with her campaign.

The group, PIVOTPAC, recently rebranded from ‘Haley Voters for Biden’ to ‘Haley Voters for Harris’ after President Joe Biden exited the presidential race, throwing its support behind Democrat Kamala Harris.

Haley’s letter demands that PIVOTPAC stop using her name to endorse Harris. “Kamala Harris and I are total opposites on every issue. Any attempt to use my name to support her or her agenda is deceptive and wrong,” Haley stated.

The PAC, which has about 7,000 followers and raised almost $400,000 from anti-Trump groups, has been encouraging Haley supporters to back Harris in the upcoming election. However, Haley’s lawyers argue that the group’s use of her name falsely implies her endorsement of Harris, which is not the case.

In response to the legal threat, the ‘Haley Voters for Harris’ group has declared they will not be suppressed. They maintain that they do not speak on behalf of Haley but will continue to advocate for Harris, describing her as the “clear better choice” for the country’s future.

Craig Snyder, the director of ‘Haley Voters for Harris,’ defended the group’s stance in an NPR interview, calling it a “factual statement” of the sentiment among many former Haley supporters who now favor Harris.

The Harris campaign has expressed appreciation for the group’s support. A campaign spokesperson remarked, “We’re glad to have the support of voters who share our vision for a better America.”
