Fiji PM Names Vinod Bhindi Honorary Consul In LA

ARTESIA, CA – The Prime Minister of Fiji, Sitiveni Rabuka, who was on a two-week visit to the US headlined by his meetings at the United Nations and then Washington, DC, also made a stop in Southern California.

During his visit here, the PM announced that Vinod Bhindi of Bhindi Jewellers would be the island country’s new Honorary Consul in Los Angeles.

The PM pointed out that the Fijian Diaspora was a “substantial” one in the area and proudly added, “I am pleased to see our own people doing well wherever they go.”
