Former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani Visits BAPS, Los Angeles

CHINO HILLS, CA – Commemorating the centennial birth celebrations of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, former chief minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani visited the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, here on Feb.13 along with his wife Anjali and other members of the family.

Rupani was traditionally greeted by Pujya Divyacharandas Swami, head Swami of the temple here.

The family offered their respects at the mandir, admired the art and architecture, and performed abhishek to the murti of Shri Neelkanth Varni.

Rupani specially addressed the Sunday satsang assembly and recounted his experiences with Pramukh Swami Maharaj, Mahant Swami Maharaj and BAPS at-large.

The visit concluded with the family offering prostrations and pushpanjali to the sacred image of Pramukh Swami Maharaj in commemoration and celebration of the centennial birth celebrations of Pramukh Swami Maharaj taking place this year.
