Kamala Harris Makes Surprise Appearance In Off-White Gown

NEW YORK, NY (ANI)– Former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris made her first appearance at the 2025 Met Gala, wearing a custom Off-White gown that aligned with the evening’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

Designed by Off-White creative director IB Kamara, the black-and-cream gown featured a single sculptural sleeve and a flowing silk scarf. The minimalist yet refined look marked a subtle departure from Harris’s usual structured pantsuits, offering a polished interpretation of modern elegance.

According to a spokesperson, Harris was invited by Vogue editor-in-chief and Met Gala co-chair Anna Wintour. She attended the event with her husband, Doug Emhoff, just ahead of a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in New York.

Kamara described the design as a reflection of Harris’s character: “The precise simplicity of this black and cream look for Kamala D. Harris complements her strength and confidence—two qualities I consider the core of dandyism.”
