Khanna Advances To November Ballot, Says Progressive Movement Can ‘Win Anywhere’

SAN JOSE, CA-Rep. Ro Khanna advanced to the November general election in California’s 17th Congressional District and remains a heavy favorite to retain his Silicon Valley seat.
Republican Ritesh Tandon also advanced to the general election and will challenge Khanna in November. Moderate Democrat Ethan Agarwal, who was recruited and backed by prominent technology executives, finished fourth in the primary race.
Following the results, Khanna characterized the outcome as a victory for the progressive movement and said the election showed that voters could overcome the influence of wealthy interests.
“Tonight, we showed that you can stand up to billionaires in the heart of Silicon Valley and prevail. When I supported a billionaire tax, the tech lords recruited a candidate to primary me and spent $1 million on false attacks. They predicted an ‘end’ to my career. The results speak for themselves. The progressive movement can win anywhere!” Khanna wrote on X.
Khanna also congratulated his opponents, including Republicans Ritesh Tandon and Jennie Ha Phan, as well as Democratic candidates Ethan Agarwal and Michael Katz.
“I absolutely love the democratic process, and tonight reminds us to never underestimate the power of citizens over big money and special interests. I believe we will renew our nation and build a new deal for our time,” Khanna said.

Must be dreaming – won”t happen! Extremists can mesmerize some people with rhetoric and propagandas. But, most people can see the ugly true color of the so- called progressives. These are the same people who vouched (including this guy) for Biden’s full cognition till Biden withdrew. They talk the talk, but no character.

They should all go to a communist country, run there, and see if they win! They won’t even let them in! Jaypal is another communist like the Squad. Why did all these people come here?
