Front and center in this innovative campaign is actress and comedian Mindy Kaling, whose presence helps to playfully bridge generational gaps and connect with a diverse audience.

The nearly 90-second film, directed by Paul Geusebroek, aims to transform iconic NBA memories into present-day excitement. Kaling’s segment is particularly memorable as she channels Stephen Curry’s famous 2022 “night, night” celebration. In a relatable and humorous scene, Kaling performs the gesture after triumphing over her father in a game of ping-pong, making a legendary NBA moment feel personal and accessible.

This inclusion of celebrities like Kaling and Kevin Costner (who mimics Magic Johnson’s 1987 baby hook) is a key strategy for the campaign.
