SACRAMENTO, CA – In a still unannounced but widely reported by the media move, the Indian American owner of the Sacramento Kings, Vivek Ranadive has appointed his daughter Anjali Ranadive, as the new Assistant General Manager of the team’s G League affiliate, the Stockton Kings.
Anjali Ranadive has been a visible presence, both on the sidelines of games and in halftime productions. She has previously been the Kings’ Social Responsibility Coordinator but this is her first appointment in basketball itself.
Anjali has a degree from UC Berkeley in marine biology and in extension of that interest runs ‘Jaws and Paws’ a marine and wildlife conservation nonprofit. She is also a musician who released her first single ‘Nani’ in 2014.
