Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos Lauds Saif Ali Khan

MUMBAI, (ANI)- Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos attended the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit here, where he praised the Indian audience and his long-standing collaboration with actor Saif Ali Khan.

Sarandos participated in a session titled ‘Streaming the New India: Culture, Connectivity, and Creative Capital,’ moderated by Khan. He expressed his admiration for the Indian audience, saying, “It was beautiful. The Indian audience is phenomenal. Look at where we (Netflix) have come in 9 years.”

Sarandos also lauded Saif Ali Khan, calling him “fantastic” and highlighting their seven-year partnership. Khan was Netflix’s first big star in India and has been involved in several projects, including the hit series Sacred Games and the recently released film Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins. Sacred Games, based on Vikram Chandra’s novel, premiered in 2018 and garnered widespread acclaim.
