Nikki Haley Back In Reckoning – Trump Says She Will Have A Role To Play

NEW YORK, NY – One day after former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley announced she would vote for former President Donald Trump in November, Trump after a rally here – the first in NY since 2016 – said the Indian American would have a place on his team.
Haley has famously called Trump as “unhinged” and attacked him on the campaign trail.
“I think she’s going to be on our team because we have a lot of the same ideas, the same thoughts,” Trump, told News 12 New York. He acknowledged the acrimony during the primaries saying, “I appreciated what she said. You know, we had a nasty campaign, it was pretty nasty. But she’s a very capable person, and I’m sure she’s going to be on our team in some form, absolutely.”
Earlier Trump had written that his former ambassador to the United Nations “is not under consideration” to be his vice-presidential candidate and had instead cited other Republicans including senators. Marco Rubio and J.D. Vance, rep. Elise Stefanik, and Dr. Ben Carson. Vivek Ramaswamy’s name gets thrown in the mix by others.
The Republican National Convention is scheduled for July 15-18 in Milwaukee and Trump, who is embroiled in criminal court proceedings, said the country would learn of his vice presidential pick at the time.

I know Trump has said in the past that Haley will not be his VP candidate, but he is also known for changing his mind, flip flopping, and even lying. Therefore, I won’t be surprised if he secretly wants Haley to be his running mate because that’s what his base wants and he cannot afford to lose votes of up to 20% Republicans who voted for her and not him in the Republican primaries.
Trump may also want Haley to be a VP because she is competent enough to become president should something happen to him while being a president because of his advancing age, although, the very thought of Trump winning presidency is exceedingly depressing.
The phenomenon of politicians changing their minds reminds me of the following famous quote:

The New York criminal trial it will end up as a hung jury since the testimony of a fixer a hooker and a tabloid newsman is not going to convince the jury to send someone to jail- especially an ex-president -for the rest of his life and the next alternative is going by circumstantial evidence which is slim for conviction. May be a misdemeanor but not felony. As far as the vice presidential choice the newmax poll shows Vivek Ramaswami, polling at 20% and the rest of them are single digits, but current choice of Trump is DeSantis. Trump would not touch Nikki Haley with the 10 ft barge Pole. She is history or she should be a teacher of history.

Nikki Haley had a successful alternative campaign in the Republican Party. She carried the feelings of most traditional Republican leaders and focused on issues that differentiated the philosophical platform of the Party from that of Trump. However, her endorsement of Trump, yesterday, negated all she said during the campaign and proved without a doubt the Trump characterization of her that she is a “birdbrain.”

The latest Newsmax poll which is most accurate among Republican voters shows Vivek Ramaswamy still leading at 19% and Ron DeSantis at 14% and Trycki Nikki at 5%. Rest single digits. Trump’s campaign in Bronx brought in more Black and Hispanic voters and this spells doom for Biden/Harris. Only two Democrats added two terms namely Clinton and Obama. Biden is an one time phenomenon.

“Bird brain” Nikki Haley is typical political with no moral convictions. She has flip-flopped multiple times on supporting and denouncing Trump. Most recently she had declared Trump as unfit to be a President and now she has endorsed him.

His legal team will definitely appeal this case and they can easily buy time for six or more months, where as other cases will not go to trial before the general election so chances are that he will come out ahead and win the election.
