No Foul Play In Death Of Students In US: India
NEW DELHI (ANI) – The External Affairs Ministry, on February 8, addressing the unfortunate deaths of five Indian students in the US, emphasized that there was “no foul play or interconnectedness” in the incidents.
The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, provided details during a weekly briefing, and shed light on the circumstances surrounding the demise of two Indian nationals and three Indian Americans.
The MEA reiterated its commitment to assisting Indian nationals abroad and emphasized its ongoing efforts to coordinate with local authorities and ensure the well-being of affected individuals.
As investigations into these incidents continue, the MEA appealed to recognize that each case is independent, and there is no evidence of any interconnectedness among the tragic events involving Indian students and individuals of Indian origin in the United States.
“You will come to know more, when the time comes, but my request to you is that you must see that there is no interconnectedness in this, they are not related,” the MEA said.
