Now WhatsApp is working to bring communities into its Business app
San Francisco, (IANS) WhatsApp, a messaging service owned by Meta, is working to bring communities into its WhatsApp Business app for Android.
According to WABetaInfo, the platform is unlikely to remove the business tab that was introduced last year.
Instead, it may include a new entry point for the new functionality directly within the application menu.
The list of all the communities users have previously formed and joined, together with all of their subgroups and community announcement groups, is displayed when they click on the menu item “Communities” within the menu.
Moreover, Businesses will also be able to develop a brand-new neighborhood in this region.
According to the sources, WhatsApp Business is still in the development phase, and it is not yet ready to be made available to beta testers in terms of the capacity to build, administer, and use communities.
In November of last year, the messaging platform announced new features to improve users’ commerce experiences and to help them connect with their favorite brands as well as discover new ones on the platform.
