NEW YORK, NY – In pictures captured by The Daily Mail, Padma Lakshmi, the writer-model-TV host, was photographed strolling through the streets of New York hand in hand with Kenya Barris, the creative mind behind popular TV series like Black-ish and Grown-ish.

Barris is newly single, having filed for divorce from his anesthesiologist wife last year. The couple, who went to divorce court twice now seems to be heading for an official split, according to recent reports.

Meanwhile, Padma Lakshmi, who has kept her romantic life relatively private since 2021, was last seen in the company of poet and MacArthur Fellow Terrance Hayes. Known for her affinity towards writers, Lakshmi was previously married to Salman Rushdie from 2004 to 2007.
