India-West Staff Reporter
LOS ANGELES, CA – In the wake of a powerful earthquake that has devastated communities across Thailand, Sewa International USA has issued an urgent appeal for support. The natural disaster has left thousands of families without shelter, food, and access to medical care, with homes destroyed and entire neighborhoods struggling to survive.
Sewa International, said in a press release it has mobilized its teams on the ground, working around the clock to deliver emergency aid and long-term assistance. The organization has already distributed 2,000 face masks and white cloth to assist in immediate relief, but the need for essential supplies continues to grow.
The organization is now urgently requesting donations of critical items such as safety gear for legs and arms, N95 masks, safety goggles, white cloth to wrap bodies, and clothing for women relief workers. These materials are vital for both frontline workers and the communities affected by the disaster, it said.
In addition to material support, Sewa International is calling on the global community to contribute financially. Donations will be used to provide food, clean water, medical supplies, and emergency shelter to those most in need.
