AUSTIN, TX – The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business has named Kumar Singirikonda, a resident of Dallas, to its Advisory Board.

The Advisory Board composed of accomplished professionals, alumni, and industry leaders provides insights and recommendations to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and responsive to the ever-evolving demands of the business world.

Dr. Deirdre Mendez, Director of the Center for Global Business, expressed her enthusiasm for Singirikonda’s appointment, stating, “His wealth of experience and dedication to advancing business education will undoubtedly enrich our institution. We look forward to working closely with him to continue our tradition of excellence.”

Born and raised in India, Singirikonda came to the US in 2000. He has established himself in the technology and business landscape, currently serving as the Director of DevOps Engineering at Toyota North America. His background in DevOps engineering is believed to align seamlessly with the university’s emphasis on technology and innovation in business.

Singirikonda said, “This means a lot to me because it matches perfectly with McCombs’ goal of preparing students to lead in the global business world by giving them the right knowledge and skills.”
