Student Found After Going Missing

FRISCO, TX – The recent disappearance of 17-year-old Indian American student Ishika Thakore has once again highlighted concerns over the safety and security of Indian students. Ishika was reported missing on April 9, sparking worry among authorities and the community, given the grim outcomes of previous similar cases.

According to the Frisco Police Department here, Ishika had vanished from her residence on Brownwood Drive. She was described as wearing a black long-sleeve shirt and red/green pajama pants at the time of her disappearance. The Frisco PD issued an alert, seeking assistance in locating her, and posted on social media platform X, stating, “Frisco PD is seeking assistance in locating 17-year-old Ishika Thakore, last seen Monday, Apr 8 at 11:30p in the 11900-block of Brownwood Dr. in Frisco.”

Ishika was found safely after a search effort by the authorities. The Frisco Police Department confirmed her safe recovery, stating, “LOCATED – The 17-year-old who was the subject of our Critical Missing Alert from earlier today has been located. We’d like to thank everyone for the offers of assistance and words of support.”
