India-West Staff Reporter
IRVINE, CA –The Center for Inner Resources Development–North America (CIRD-NA) will host the 2025 edition of Jnana Yajna, a series of spiritual programs led by Indian spiritual teachers in three U.S. cities: Irvine, California; the San Francisco Bay Area; and Columbus, Ohio.
Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha, the 93-year-old spiritual leader from India, will travel to the U.S. for the series, along with Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha and Ma Gurupriya. The events, scheduled through June and early July, will focus on the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and their relevance in contemporary life.
CIRD-NA said the sessions will offer practical tools for inner clarity and mental composure. Organizers describe the format as a mix of traditional teachings and interactive discussions where attendees may engage directly with the speakers. The sessions will explore the application of philosophical teachings to daily life and personal development.
Founded in the tradition of Vedantic learning, CIRD-NA has hosted similar programs across North America over the past two decades.
The first program will be a Youth Retreat in Irvine, on June 7–8, intended for young participants. It will focus on topics such as purpose, resilience, and mindful living. The main Bhagavad Gita Retreat will take place June 11–15 in the city of Tustin. This retreat will include discourses, guided meditations, chanting, self-reflection exercises, and Q&A sessions with the teachers.
Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha will lead events in the San Francisco Bay Area from June 18–24, followed by a program in Columbus, Ohio, from June 24–July 1. A weekend retreat is planned for June 28–29 in Columbus.
