‘Top Chef’ Padma Lakshmi Excited About Emmy Nom

LOS ANGELES, CA – Indian American Padma Lakshmi is thrilled with her 2022 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Reality Host for Top Chef season 20. The Top Chef host got her third Emmy nomination on July 12.

The New York Times best-selling author, food expert and model has been nominated for 37 Emmys so far.

Lakshmi is also the creator of the critically acclaimed Hulu series Taste the Nation, the co-founder of the Endometriosis Foundation of America, a ACLU Artist Ambassador for immigrants’ and women’s rights, a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Program. She has modelled for Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace, Ralph Lauren, and Roberto Cavalli.

“It feels really great,” Lakshmi told E!. “We work so hard on this show, and we are just over the moon that people still love it so much like we do. It feels gratifying. I’m just about to go and film another season so this puts a bounce in our step…I’m really excited, I’m really happy, I hope we win.”
