Speaking at the White House’s first iftar dinner of his second term, Trump expressed his gratitude to the “hundreds of thousands” of Muslim Americans who lent him their votes.

The 2024 election saw a historic shift as a record number of Muslim Americans cast their ballots for Trump, reversing the community’s traditional alignment with the Democratic Party. This change was largely attributed to discontent with President Joe Biden’s support for Israel’s actions in Gaza.
