SACRAMENTO, CA – The Sacramento Suvidha International Foundation, in collaboration with the Rotary E-Club of Silicon Valley Health & Wellness and the Rotary Club of Rancho Cordova, successfully distributed over 500 jackets, sweaters, socks, jeans, and scarves to students and families in need at Kinney High School in Rancho Cordova.

The initiative, which took place in December, provided winter essentials to those experiencing economic hardship. Many students and families at Kinney High School come from underprivileged backgrounds, making access to such clothing a vital resource.

The drive, initially organized by the Rotary Club of Rancho Cordova, gained momentum with the involvement of the Suvidha International Foundation. At the request of Rancho Cordova City Mayor Siri Pulipati, the Foundation took the lead with support from the Rotary E-Club of Silicon Valley Health & Wellness. The campaign was supported by 22 youth volunteers from Rotary Clubs and Granite Bay High School, as well as members of the City of Rancho Cordova Rotary Club.

The campaign not only addressed immediate needs but also contributed to fostering a sense of community and support. Emma Falcon, Community Schools Facilitator at Kinney High School, expressed gratitude for the contributions, thanking the organizations for their efforts.

Suvidha International Foundation President Bhaskar Vempati noted that the original goal was to collect 100 jackets, but the final collection exceeded expectations.
