Netflix To Boost India’s Animation And VFX Talent
MUMBAI — The Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT) has teamed up with Netflix and FICCI to support students in India’s Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC) sector.
Under the collaboration, Netflix will help IICT develop specialized curricula and provide access to industry professionals who can share real-world experience and best practices with students. The initiative will include workshops, masterclasses, and guest lectures—delivered either directly by Netflix or through its partners—designed to mentor students, enhance the academic environment, and equip them with skills needed to succeed in the creative industry.
The partnership also includes scholarships for select students, identified in coordination with IICT.
