Emotional Suniel Shetty Speaks Of Turmoil After Son Ahaan’s Debut Flop
MUMBAI -Bollywood star Suniel Shetty recently turned emotional at the song launch of ‘Border 2’; while speaking about the challenging phase his son Ahaan Shetty went through after his debut film, emphasizing how it is difficult for actors even if they are star kids.
Opening up from a father’s point of view, Suniel said there was a brief lull after Ahaan’s first movie, ‘Tadap’, and that he, along with the entire family, faced personal turmoil.
“One day, after his first film, there was a little break. You know, there’s always turmoil in our lives,” Suniel shared.
“Everyone thinks, yes, Suniel Shetty’s son would have got a lot of work. But somewhere or the other, there’s a lot that Ahaan went through in life.”
The actor admitted that watching his son navigate the tough period was emotionally difficult, but also a test of patience and perseverance for them all.
Expressing gratitude to the makers of ‘Border 2’ — Nidhi Dutta and JP Dutta — Suniel said he was thankful that Ahaan landed a project like ‘Border 2’ at a crucial point in his professional space.
Suniel also spoke about the values and motivation he has tried to instill in his son. “The only thing I said was, whatever you do, do it with your heart,” he stated.
Ahaan Shetty made his acting debut with ‘Tadap’ in 2021, which did not perform well at the box office.‘Border 2’, featuring Ahaan Shetty, also stars Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. The movie will release on January 23 this year. (IANS)
