SANTA CLARA, CA – Renowned spiritual teacher BK Shivani inspired nearly 8,500 people across four landmark events hosted by the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center, Silicon Valley, at the Santa Clara Convention Center on August 30–31.
Sister Shivani guided audiences through a journey of inner clarity, resilience, and stillness. Beginning with Own the Present, she urged attendees to live consciously in each moment. In Rising with Clarity, she addressed emotional resilience and healing, offering tools to navigate uncertainty with grace.
Code the Future expanded the focus toward purposeful action and wise choices, while the closing session, Serenity in Stillness, immersed the hall in deep silence, teaching participants to access inner wisdom and strength.

The impact was immediate and personal. “This wasn’t just a talk—it was a blueprint for conscious living,” one participant said. Another, who traveled from Los Angeles, described the event as “life-changing” and admitted with tears, “I wish the event didn’t end and we didn’t have to go back.”
For three decades, the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center in Silicon Valley, led by Sister Kusum, has been a hub for spiritual growth and community service. Under her leadership, the center has nurtured values-based programs for children, parenting workshops, and initiatives promoting inner strength and emotional wellness. This latest series of events, she said, represents the continuation of that mission on a larger scale.

The gathering also drew strong support from civic and community leaders, underscoring the growing recognition of emotional and spiritual wellness in the Bay Area. Distinguished guests included Assembly Members Ash Kalra and Alex Lee; Milpitas Mayor Carmen Montano and former Mayor Jose Esteves; Fremont Mayor Dr. Raj Salwan; Sunnyvale Councilmember Murali Srinivasan; Berkeley Councilmember Igor Tregub; Democratic Party Deputy National Finance Chair Ajay Bhutoria and former Saratoga Councilmember Rishi Kumar, among others.
Their presence, alongside thousands of community members, reflected what organizers called a “renaissance of emotional and spiritual wellbeing” in the region—an effort to unite civic leadership and personal growth around a shared vision of conscious living.
