Charu Gulati Named Principal Of CA Middle School

SAN CARLOS, CA– The San Carlos School District has announced the appointment of Charu Gulati as the new Principal of Tierra Linda Middle School.

In a press release, the district said, “Gulati embodies all the qualities we sought in our next leader for Tierra Linda – a student-centered focus, strong instructional leadership, collaborative staff and family engagement, and effective culture and climate-building skills.”

Born in India, Gulati holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delhi with a major in biology and chemistry. She earned her master’s degree in teaching and learning from National University, San Joses. She also possesses a single-subject teaching credential in sciences and an Administrative Services Credential.

With over two decades of teaching experience in diverse local and international educational contexts, Gulati has gained valuable insights into the diverse learning needs of students. This experience enables her to bring multiple perspectives and foster inclusivity, cultural appreciation, and a holistic approach to learning, the release added.

Superintendent Jennifer Fentress expressed her excitement about Gulati’s appointment, stating, “We are thrilled about what Charu brings to this position and have complete confidence in her ability to provide steady and consistent leadership to Tierra Linda.”
