Disha Patani Ditches Security Scare At Home, Shines At New York Fashion Week

MUMBAI — Actress Disha Patani made a dazzling appearance at New York Fashion Week, her first international outing since gunfire was reported outside her family home in Bareilly last week.

As brand ambassador for Calvin Klein, Patani turned heads in a backless black gown — a sequined, strappy maxi dress with a plunging neckline and intricate embroidery. Keeping her hair loose and makeup minimal, she drew admiration from fans and fashion insiders alike.

The actress was spotted mingling with fellow guests, sharing light moments with supermodel Carolyn Murphy and model Sabrina Dhowre Elba. The star-studded audience also included BTS sensation Jungkook, Lily Collins, and Chris Briney.

Patani’s runway appearance comes at a pivotal time in her career as she gears up for her Hollywood debut in Holiguards Saga — The Portal of Force, directed by Kevin Spacey and featuring Dolph Lundgren, Tyrese Gibson, and Brianna Hildebrand.

Her trip to New York follows a tense episode back home. In the early hours of September 12, gunshots were fired outside her Bareilly residence in what police believe was retaliation for her sister Khushboo’s criticism of spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya’s remarks on women in live-in relationships. The Rohit Goldy Brar group later claimed responsibility for the attack. Khushboo has since clarified that her comments were not aimed at Premanand Maharaj.
