Former US Envoy Richard Verma Rejoins T. Rowe Price Board

BALTIMORE, MD – T. Rowe Price Group has announced the re-election of Richard Verma as an independent director on its Board of Directors. Verma, a seasoned diplomat and corporate executive, previously served on the board from 2018 to 2023 before stepping down to accept a government appointment.

Verma currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer at Mastercard Incorporated, overseeing the company’s global operations and strategic initiatives. His prior roles at Mastercard included General Counsel and Head of Global Public Policy. He also held leadership positions as Vice Chairman and Partner at The Asia Group.

Verma brings extensive public sector experience, having served as U.S. Ambassador to India, Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources, and as a judge advocate in the U.S. Air Force.

Verma’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University, a law degree from American University, a Master of Laws with distinction in international law, and a doctorate in international relations, both from Georgetown University.
