Kareena Kapoor Promotes Mizo-Inspired Couture

MUMBAI (ANI)- Kareena Kapoor Khan, known for her impeccable style, turned heads at a recent Bvlgari event in a striking outfit inspired by traditional Mizo attire. The custom ensemble was designed by Aizawl-based designer Hannah Khiangte and styled by Rhea Kapoor.

Taking cues from the puan—a handwoven textile intrinsic to Mizoram’s cultural identity—the off-shoulder outfit featured corset detailing, sharp cuts, delicate fringes, and a bold silhouette that beautifully blended elegance with cultural richness.

Designer Hannah Khiangte, who launched her label in 2013, is recognized for promoting traditional Mizo craftsmanship and supporting local women weavers through her designs.
