Kritika Kamra, Gaurav Kapur Host Mumbai Wedding With Celebs, Cricket Legends

MUMBAI- Actress Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Kapur have tied the nuptial knot, celebrating their wedding with intimate festivities attended by family and a close circle of friends.

The ceremony was set against a theme inspired by sunset tones and golden-hour hues, creating an elegant and deeply personal atmosphere. The couple chose to mark the occasion with a registrar wedding at home, stepping away from a traditional large-scale affair and instead celebrating the moment in a setting that felt personal and close to their hearts.

For the ceremony, Kritika opted for a red Chanderi saree specially woven for her and gifted by her mother. The saree was created by her own brand, an initiative that works to conserve the traditional dyeing art form of Chanderi silk while supporting women artisans from the region. Gaurav complemented the warm aesthetic of the evening in an elegant ivory and gold traditional ensemble by designer Raghavendra Rathore.

The celebrations took place across the couple’s Bandra home and terrace, followed by a sundowner overlooking the Mumbai skyline, where guests gathered amid warm golden light and music to celebrate the newlyweds. The festivities are set to continue with a larger gathering hosted by the couple on March 12.

The wedding drew several well-known personalities from the entertainment industry and the sports fraternity. Actress Soha Ali Khan was among those who attended the intimate yet dreamy celebrations. She later shared glimpses from the wedding on social media, including a photograph with the bride, groom and the rest of the girl gang.

The ‘Rang De Basanti’ actress was seen twinning with the ladies in a cream saree paired with a golden choker necklace, light makeup and her hair tied in a bun. Her photo album also featured moments with bride Kritika and ‘Border 2’ actress Anya Singh, as well as a playful interaction between Kritika and Soha’s daughter Inaaya.

The wedding celebrations also featured a lively couple entry that quickly caught attention. Cricket legends Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Ashish Nehra and Zaheer Khan joined the festivities, dancing as the couple made their welcome entry. Actor Farhan Akhtar was also seen joining the dance performance.

Designer Masaba Gupta shared a video of the joyful moment on social media, capturing Kritika and Gaurav walking behind the dancing group as they made their official entry as husband and wife in front of family and friends.
