National Retail Solutions, Krasdale Foods Host Annual Customer Appreciation Day at Citi Field

QUEENS, NY -National Retail Solutions (NRS), in partnership with Krasdale Foods, brought together more than 250 merchants and employees for its annual Customer Appreciation Day at Citi Field, here.

The event, held on July 30 is an annual tradition, and recognized the contributions of partner retailers and employees with a tailgate celebration followed by the New York Mets’ game against the Miami Marlins.

The evening began with a pregame tailgate outside the stadium, where independent store owners, NRS employees, and Krasdale team members gathered before heading into the ballpark. Organizers said the event also gave many retailers and company staff an opportunity to meet in person after years of working together remotely.

“Seeing more than 250 of our partner retailers and employees together at the ballpark is what Appreciation Day is all about,” said Elie Y. Katz, president and chief executive officer of NRS. “These are the people behind the counter – and behind NRS -who work incredibly hard every single day. An evening of good food, good company, and Mets baseball is a small way of saying thank you for everything they do.”

Krasdale Foods, a family-owned grocery distributor with a history spanning 118 years, supplies more than 3,000 independent retailers throughout the Northeast and Florida.
