Neha Kakkar Exposes Melbourne Concert Fiasco: I Was Cheated

MUMBAI (ANI)- Neha Kakkar has spoken out after facing backlash for arriving late to her Melbourne concert, revealing that the event’s organizers abandoned their responsibilities and fled with her payment.

In a detailed statement, Neha shared the challenges she and her team faced. “They said I was three hours late, but did anyone ask what happened to me and my band? The organizers ran away with my money and others’ as well. My band wasn’t even provided food, accommodation, or water. My husband and his team had to step in to arrange food for them. Despite everything, we still performed for my Melbourne audience—completely free—because my fans were waiting for hours.”

She further explained that the concert’s sound check was severely delayed because the sound vendor refused to proceed due to unpaid dues. “I couldn’t even reach the venue for the sound check. At one point, we weren’t sure if the concert would happen at all because the organizers stopped answering my manager’s calls,” she added.

Despite the ordeal, Neha expressed gratitude to her fans. “I want to thank everyone who stood by me, attended the concert, and supported me through this. My NeHearts (fans) have always been my strength.”

Her brother, singer Tony Kakkar, also addressed the issue earlier, blaming the delays on mismanagement by the event organizers.
