New Executive Committee Of GOPIO-LA Takes Over Operations

LONG BEACH, CA – The Global Organization of People of Indian Origin, Los Angeles Chapter (GOPIO-LA) met here on January 20 with the new executive committee taking over the reins of day-to-day operations of this chapter, a press release said.

The current leadership team consists of Kalika Gupta as Chairperson, Charu Shivakumar as President, Baljinder Tahim as Vice President, Yatri Shukla as Secretary, Ashok Madan as Treasurer, and Dr. Asmath Noor as Joint Secretary. The Trustees for the current term include Kewal Kanda, Navin Gupta, and Rajinder Dhunna.

The new executive committee immediately approved some events including an American Red Cross Blood Donation Camp for February 11, and the India Festival 2024 for May 19. A blood donation camp will be held at Buena Park Gurudwara.

The executive committee also decided to continue with the yearly signature event Diabetes Reversal Summit in collaboration with its parent organization GOPIO-International.
