Questions On How Teen Died In Walmart Oven

HALIFAX –Days after the tragic discovery of an Indian woman’s body in a walk-in oven at a Walmart bakery here, a coworker has voiced suspicions that the 19-year-old may have been forced into the oven.

Gursimran Kaur, an employee of the store, was found dead on October 19 in one of the bakery’s appliances, with reports indicating her body was discovered by her mother, who also works at the same Walmart location and has been employed there for two years.

The Halifax Regional Police said  that while their investigation is ongoing, they have yet to determine the official “cause and manner” of death. “The investigation is complex and involves multiple partner agencies, and it may take considerable time to reach conclusions,” the department noted.

Meanwhile, a TikTok video, a coworker has alleged that the oven’s controls are located outside the unit and that the door handle is notoriously difficult to operate. So could the victim have been stuck inside then?–
