At these events, Sewa International felicitated Uma and Avadhesh Agarwal of California, and Sheela and Suresh Paranjpe of Michigan for their significant contributions to large healthcare projects in India.

At an event at the home of Hema and Avinash Rachmale in Detroit, it was noted that the Paranjpe family donated over a million dollars to the Newborn Child Vision Protection Program in India, focusing on Retinopathy of Prematurity and low vision. Their donation aims to improve access to essential eye care services, reduce preventable blindness, and enhance overall eye health outcomes for underserved communities, a press release said.
