Shri Sanatan Mandir In NJ Building $1.25 Community Hall

PARSIPPANY, NJ – The Shri Sanatan Mandir here, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its community hall. The event witnessed the presence of hundreds of temple devotees, local dignitaries, community leaders, and well-wishers.
Casey Parikh, the project manager, commenced the event with the traditional ‘Deep Pragatya,’ a press release said.
The new community hall, spanning 3500 sq. ft., will have a capacity to accommodate approximately 170 people. The estimated cost of the project is $1.25 million. Ajit Kothari, the Temple President, emphasized that the addition would not only enhance the temple as a place of worship but also serve as the new home for the Temple’s Sunday School, providing additional educational opportunities for children.
During his address, Mayor James Barberio of Parsippany stated, “We are all Americans, but we also celebrate our diverse cultures and religions.”
To commemorate this historic milestone, Sanatan Mandir organized a week-long Shrimad Bhagawat Saptah from May 28 to June 3, led by the renowned spiritual leader Pujya Acharya Mridul Krishna Goswamiji. Guruji’s recitation of Hindu scriptures and melodious bhajans created a divine atmosphere, leaving the devotees spellbound, a press release said.
