Thanedar Has $5 Million In His Reelection Kitty

WASHINGTON, DC – Indian American Congressman Shri Thanedar on April 11 said he has successfully raised $5 million in funds and secured endorsements from over 15 influential elected officials and organizations, for his reelection campaign. Thanedar represents Michigan’s 13th Congressional District.
“I am deeply honored by the overwhelming support from the community and these esteemed organizations,” Thanedar said in a statement. “Together, we will persevere in our fight for progress, equality, and opportunities benefiting all residents of Michigan’s 13th,” he affirmed. He won the seat in 2022.
Among the noteworthy endorsements received are those from lawmakers such as Ami Bera, Judy Chu, Robert Garcia, Marcy Kaptur, Ro Khanna, Raja Krishnamoorthi, Ted Lieu, Seth Magaziner, Brad Sherman, and Dina Titus.
Prominent organizations including the Human Rights Campaign, Laborers International Union of North America (LiUNA), National Education Association, Michigan Education Association, and Newtown Action Alliance have thrown their support behind him.
