Vikas Khanna Names Dish Inspired By Book On Kashmir

MUMBAI, (IANS) – Celebrity Chef Vikas Khanna has paid tribute to the ‘Paradise of India’ — Kashmir  – by naming a dish after it in his menu in his new restaurant Bungalow New York, which opens on March 23.

Vikas shared that the dish christened “Kiss of Kashmir” is made from lotus stems infused with “zaika” and is inspired by a book written by Monica Saigal.

“Most of the menu of @bungalowny has evolved during travels or research & diversity of Indian cuisine,” he wrote.

The restaurant opens on the 50th birth anniversary of Khanna’s late sister Radhikay.

According to reports, Bungalow New York also celebrates the famous street vendors of India..
