NEW YORK, NY – American Hindus Against Defamation (AHAD), an organization dedicated to combating Hindu defamation, has launched an artificial intelligence initiative aimed at identifying and countering Hinduphobia and anti-Hindu bias, according to a press release. This new initiative leverages advanced algorithms developed by Tattwa.ai to empower stakeholders in academia, journalism, and advocacy to effectively address Hindu hatred.

The initiative introduces several advanced tools, including the HinduHate Detector, which uses deep learning and over 2,000 proprietary rules to evaluate published work for bias against Hindus. Another key feature is a database profiling academicians, journalists, and commentators, providing insights into their contributions to Hindu-related discourse. The 360-Degree Political View tool offers an overview of political candidates’ positions, funding sources, and public statements from a Hindu perspective. Additionally, AHAD plans to release a social media analyzer to detect patterns of Hinduphobia and misinformation on platforms like X.

According to a press release, AHAD has already employed the HinduHate Detector to analyze reports by “We Are Savera” that scrutinized the Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America and the Hindu American Foundation. The analysis found these reports to be heavily biased, citing linguistic nuances, sources, and sentiment that reflect significant anti-Hindu prejudice. “These findings underscore the importance of evidence-based tools to debunk misinformation,” said Ajay Shah, convenor of AHAD and president of VHPA.
