Alka Joshi To Attend Cerritos Library Writer’s Festival

CERRITOS, CA – A don’t-miss for bookworms and aspiring writers, the first-ever Writer’s Festival to celebrate the magic of storytelling will be presented by the Friends of the Cerritos Library on March 30.
Featured authors include New York Times bestselling author Alka Joshi of “The Henna Artist”; Diane Marie Brown, who penned the novel “Black Candle Women”; Melissa Chadburn, who wrote the acclaimed “A Tiny Upward Shove”; Carolyn Huynh, whose “The Fortunes of Jaded Women” was a “Good Morning America” book club pick; Zara Raheem, who scribed “The Retreat” and “The Marriage Clock”; and Belinda Huijuan Tang of “Map for the Missing.”
The festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Cerritos Library Skyline Room. The event is for ages 18 and older.
Hosted by the Friends of the Cerritos Library, the festival will include a luncheon, entertainment, and a six-author panel discussion followed by a book signing.
