Cheese Balls

Ingredients:

1 ½ Cups Grated Cheese

¾ cup Breadcrumbs

1 tbsp Maida (All-purpose Flour)

2 tbsp Corn Flour

Pepper to taste

1 tsp Finely Chopped Green Chillies

1 tbsp Chopped Parsley

Oil for frying

Method:

In a plate, combine all the ingredients – grated cheese, breadcrumbs, maida, corn flour, pepper, finely chopped green chillies, and chopped parsley.

Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

Knead the dough until it comes together. Ensure that all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

Divide the dough into 18 equal pieces to form small cheese balls.

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium flame.

Carefully place the cheese balls into the hot oil.

Fry the cheese balls until they turn golden brown and crispy. Make sure to turn them for even cooking.

Once done, use a slotted spoon to remove the fried cheese balls from the oil.

Place the cheese balls on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil.

Serve the cheese balls hot with ketchup or pizza sauce.

  • Don’t you need to add a little water to the dough in order to knead it? Can you use dhannia instead of parsely? I would. And, what kind of “cheese” is meant? There’s a gazillion kinds of cheese!
