LOS ANGELES, CA – Bollywood multi-hyphenate Farhan Akhtar has signed with Crimson Media and The SB Initiative for global representation, according to Deadline. Akhtar, who co-founded Excel Entertainment, is best known for his work on the hit 2006 film ‘Don,’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, and its 2011 sequel ‘Don 2.’ The highly anticipated third installment, ‘Don 3: The Final Chapter,’ featuring Ranveer Singh, is currently in pre-production.
Excel Entertainment, Akhtar’s Mumbai-based production company, secured a multi-year series deal with Netflix in 2021, resulting in shows like ‘Eternally Confused and Eager for Love’ and ‘Dabba Cartel.’ The company’s popular Prime Video series ‘Mirzapur’ recently released its third season, becoming the platform’s most-watched original in India, with a fourth season already confirmed, Deadline reported.
