In Australia, Jaishankar Gifts Signed Bat From Virat Kohli

CANBERRA, (ANI) – External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles in Canberra on October 10 and gifted a signed bat from Virat Kohli, in a special gesture to show the common thread of cricket that binds both countries together.

“A pleasure to host @DrSJaishankar here in Canberra. There are many things which bind us, including our love of cricket. Today, he surprised me with a signed bat from cricket legend @imVkohli,” Marles tweeted. During his meeting with Marles, who is the Defense Minister of Australia, Jaishankar exchanged views on regional and global security.

Jaishankar reached Canberra on October 10 after his visit to New Zealand.
