Mammoth Gathering of Gita Chanters in Dallas, TX

DALLAS, TX – The Sri Avadhoota Datta Peetham under the guidance of Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda organized a weeklong Bhagavad-Gita festival culminating with a historic, a first of its kind mass chanting of all chapters of Bhagavad Gita at the Allen Event Center here,  on  August 13.

“History is in the making with the “Gita Sahasragala” event, the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple noted, stating the as a mammoth gathering saw over 1500 chanters reciting the complete Gita from memory.

The chanters were joined by almost a 1000 more trained fluent readers, their families and friends bringing the total number of participants to 7000.
