SAN JOSE, CA– Santa Clara Family Health Plan (SCFHP) has appointed Manish Nautiyal as its new Chief Information Officer. With over 22 years of experience in healthcare IT, he succeeds Jonathan Tamayo, who retired after serving as CIO since 2015.

Nautiyal, a seasoned technology executive, brings expertise in software engineering, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and healthcare IT infrastructure. As CIO, he will lead SCFHP’s IT strategy and operations, ensuring the organization’s technology supports its mission to expand healthcare access in Santa Clara County.

Before joining SCFHP, Nautiyal served as Senior Vice President of IT Development and Infrastructure at Beacon Healthcare Systems, where he led technology initiatives for health plans. He also held leadership roles at Molina Healthcare, focusing on IT advancements in healthcare.

A graduate of Agra University with a degree in computer science engineering, Nautiyal has experience implementing artificial intelligence solutions and managing healthcare data security and QNXT systems.

SCFHP serves over 290,000 Medi-Cal and Medicare members, focusing on equitable healthcare access through partnerships with local providers and organizations.
