Neil Chaturvedi Named Editor Of Political Research Quarterly

POMONA, CA-Neil Chaturvedi, professor of political science at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of Political Research Quarterly, the official journal of the Western Political Science Association.
The association announced its new nine-member editorial board in late April.
Political Research Quarterly is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research on all aspects of politics.
Chaturvedi also serves as director of the Weglyn Endowed Chair in Multicultural Studies at Cal Poly Pomona. His research focuses on American politics, including Congress, the presidency, voting behavior, and race and ethnic politics.
He is the author of ‘Life in the Middle: Marginalized Moderate Senators in the Era of Polarization.’ His work has appeared in The Hill, The Washington Post, and the Sacramento Bee, as well as several academic journals.
Chaturvedi joined the Cal Poly Pomona faculty in 2015 and has held leadership roles including Interim Associate Dean for the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. He was promoted to full professor and named director of the Weglyn Endowed Chair in 2024.
