NEW YORK, NY – The Consul General of India, Binay Srikant, inaugurated the Thomas Abraham Library at the Kerala Center here, on April 7.

The library will serve as a hub for Indian diaspora research and will include collections of books and historical documents, the center said.

Named after Abraham, who has initiated several Indian American community institutions in the last five decades, at the inaugural event, many community leaders spoke about his influential work.

Abraham and his wife, Dr. Susy Abraham, a retired geriatrician, are residents of Stamford, CT.
