Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’ Rakes In $800K In Pre-Sales In US

LOS ANGELES, CA – ‘Jailer,’ the much-awaited movie starring Rajinikanth in the titular role, is hitting theaters worldwide.

Reports say the film grossed over $800K at the US box office even before its release. Trade pundits expect the movie to reach the $1 million mark through premieres alone.

Nelson Dilipkumar of ‘Beast’ fame is the director of this headline-making film and music is by Anirudh Ravichander, of the famed ‘Kolavari Di,’ number.

Ramya Krishnan plays Rajinikanth’s wife in this movie, with Tamannaah Bhatia, Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shivarajkumar, Vinayakan, Sunil, and Yogi Babu playing pivotal roles.

News media outlets noted that Rajnikant had headed out to the Himalayas on a spiritual stop before the release of the film
