Rohit Sharma Opens Cricket Academy In Milpitas, CA

MILPITAS, CA – Indian cricket stalwart Rohit Sharma inaugurated the ‘Crickingdom’ Cricket Academy here on August 5. The academy’s establishment comes at a time when cricket’s popularity is on the rise in the US.

While the USA Cricket’s efforts have been aimed at popularizing cricket among Americans and fostering youth development programs, the launch of Crickingdom Cricket Academy adds a new dimension to this progression. Backed by the US Cricket Store here, the academy joins forces with Rohit Sharma’s vision to provide a comprehensive cricket ecosystem that connects players, coaches, students, academies, and facilities in a seamless engagement.

The academy’s pre-launch celebrations were graced by Rohit Sharma himself. Dignitaries and officials including Dr TV Nagendra Prasad, CGISF, Assemblymen Alex Lee, Fremont Mayor Lily Mei, Milpitas Mayor Carmen Mantano, and Sunnyvale council member Russ Melton were present at the launch event.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the academy’s launch, Rohit Sharma said, “We can promote cricket at grassroots level through the tailored annual curriculum, in-house mobile app for training & tracking and global access to CricKingdom academies.”
