NEW YORK, NY – Comedian and actor Vir Das made history by hosting the 52nd International Emmy Awards at the New York Hilton Midtown, becoming the first Indian entertainer to take on the prestigious role.
Das, who won an International Emmy in 2023 for his stand-up special Landing, brought his trademark humor and charisma to the star-studded event, which celebrated excellence in television from around the globe.
Das’ hosting duties marked a significant moment for Indian representation on the international stage, as he skillfully balanced laughter with heartfelt reflections on the power of storytelling.
