Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta Share Sweet Wimbledon Reunion

LONDON-Actress Lara Dutta reunited with actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas at Wimbledon, sharing pictures that offered a glimpse of their friendship spanning more than two decades.

Lara shared pictures from the reunion on her Instagram Story, including a candid photo of the two actresses smiling together. She captioned it, “26 years later, happy girls are still the…” and added heart emojis.

Priyanka also shared a picture with Lara and wrote, “So good to see my girl.”

The two actresses have appeared together in two films. Their first collaboration was the 2003 romantic drama ‘Andaaz,’ also starring actor Akshay Kumar, which marked the Bollywood debut of both former beauty queens. They later appeared together in filmmaker Farhan Akhtar’s action thriller ‘Don 2.’

In 2000, Priyanka won the Miss World title, while Lara was crowned Miss Universe.

Priyanka attended the Wimbledon women’s singles semifinal and also connected with her husband, American singer and actor Nick Jonas, over a FaceTime call during the match. (IANS)
