Asha Parekh Recalls The Challenging Songs Of Lata Mangeshkar And Asha Bhosle

MUMBAI -Veteran actress Asha Parekh recalled how legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar once described ‘Suno Sajna’ from the Dharmendra-starrer ‘Aaye Din Bahar Ke’ as one of the most difficult songs she had ever sung.

Speaking on the singing reality show ‘Indian Idol’, Asha Parekh shared ,“In one of her interviews, she had said that this song was the most difficult one for her because the vocal runs were very long and it was sung in a very high pitch. Even I found it difficult to lip-sync to it,” Asha Parekh said.

The actress also recalled that singer Asha Bhosle had described ‘Daiya Re Daiya Main Kahan Phasi’ from ‘Caravan’ as one of her most challenging songs.

“Both these songs were very difficult, and I feel very lucky that these challenging songs were destined for me,” she added. (IANS)
